The Softer Side of Me!

A little over 20 years ago I used to photograph and style Bunnies By The Bay catalogs…and wow, 20 years later in the summer of 2021 Osborne Marsh got a call from their CMO, the bunnies needed to shape up their retail experience in their New York City FAO Schwarz store for a summer campaign.

Since 2021, Osborne Marsh has partnered with the bunnies over the last 3 years to reshape the brand, the brand experience In-Store, enhance the store personalization experience, reintroduce higher level product marketing and a whole lot more…and by the way, all around to globe.

From New York, Beijing, Milan, Paris, London, to Tokyo, Dublin to Sydney…the bunnies are hoppily growing the brand with customers and destinations everywhere, with a little nudge from me.

This story driven brand, filled with amazing stories and characters in their many product lines and stores, were ready to take a leap forward and reframe the brand within their global locations, marketing and manufacturing facilities. An honor to work with this team of storytellers, Osborne Marsh had the responsibility to bring the brand to life through store experience design, graphic treatments, wayfinding and communication signage, fixtures, displays, cabinetry, integration of unique, materials and processes, to video creation, catalog design, and more.

From complete store redesign and implementation around the world, to corporate headquarters in Anacortes Washington and Beijing China, the Bunnies brand has unfolded into a Hareytale that is immersive and filled with their 40 year story.The brand is inviting to visitors to explore and discover their characters from Cricket Island and around the world.

Vive la Paris

Taking Dye Sublimation Printing to a Whole New Dimension. Bunnies By The Bay Paris / 2024.

Super cool project. Probably first of it’s kind. I was challenged to create a store that was both dimensional and filled with the soft touches that Bunnies By The Bay is known for through their highly sought after plush products. The Paris store opened in Fall of 2024 to align with the Paris Olympics. Execution of this store unfolded through the use of Die Sublimated fabric and heavy overlaid plush elements tor create dimensional gardens and landscapes reflected within the stories of Cricket Island. Supported by the amazing team of seamstress’ at the Blue Barn in Anacortes, we pulled off a one-of-a-kind experience.
